Complete with sights, sounds, and smells, Journey of Hope is an immersive Feed The Children experience replicating a walk through Kibera, the largest slum in Africa.

A top-10 international charity, Feed The Children continuously arranged mission trips to Africa for celebrities, donors, churches, etc. They knew that once an American had witnessed extreme poverty, that the individual would become a supporter for life. Since most people are unwilling to go to Africa, the leadership decided to bring Africa to them. And Journey of Hope was born – a fully immersive, museum-like experience that recreates the sights, sounds, smells, and stories of Africa’s most notorious slum, Kibera.

Our project was to fully develop the Journey of Hope brand – from collateral materials and video to retail elements and in-store merchandise.

Journey of Hope brings a heartbreaking, and largely unknown, part of Africa to America. A brilliant idea that ultimately helps provide food for those in need. [+]
